Who We Are

Kids on the Common Pediatrics is a practice led by Dr. Rugo Focht, a pediatrician with over 30 years of experience. It has been designed with the input of a Parent Council to meet the needs of children and their families. The practice is built on a model of holistic care where a child's physical, developmental, emotional, and spiritual needs are considered while providing education, support, and parental advice.

NOTICE 01/27/2026:

Due to the expected weather conditions on Tuesday, 01/27/2026, our office will be opening at 9am.

We will be contacting those of you with scheduled appointments before 9am to reschedule.

Otherwise, if you have an emergent issue please call our office at 508-466-7120, to speak to an on-call triage nurse or have a provider paged. If the phone line doesn't work the direct line to our answering service is (661) 328-2000. If you have an emergency please call 9-1-1.

REMINDER:

Just a reminder regarding school excuse notes for your children: The office can only provide school excusal notes after a patient is seen in office or if the illness was documented in the chart via a phone call. If we forget to provide a school note after a visit, please don’t hesitate to call the office for one. Thank you!
